Memberships
Martin is a past President of the Yacht Brokers Designers and Surveyors Association. He was also chairman of the Yacht Designers and Surveyors Association, and Chairman of the YDSA Certifying Authority Committee for MCA Coding of Small Commercial Vessels.
Maple Marine are authorised to conduct MCA coding examinations by the YDSA and the RYA.
He is a fellow member of the Yacht Designers and Surveyors Association, a fellow of the Royal Institute of Naval Architects, and one of only a few fellows (who are not Honorary fellows) of the International Institute of Marine Surveyors.
Maple Marine Ltd are members of British Marine, with Martin being the surveyor’s representative for the Boat Retailers and Brokers Association. He is also a member of the British Marine Superyacht UK group.
